Highlights of MCAS 2021
What an amazing event we had! 2020 and 2021 brought so many challenges to the arts communities. We were fortunate to be able to come together and celebrate our love of metal clay in August 2021.

What people said...
"There is nothing like the experience of being surrounded by generous, caring, like-minded people
with the knowledge and skills to share. So many artists, so
little time! "

"MCAS was well worth the investment in time and travel! Besides learning techniques from top-
notch instructors who are leaders in the industry, I learned a lot from my fellow students, all of
whom generously shared tips and techniques. I'd recommend this highly for anyone seriously
working in metal clay."

"This was quite literally one of the best weekends of my life. It was so inspiring and amazing to
mingle with talented folks that share your passion and 'get you'."
Torch Trials
"SUCH A FUN CHALLENGE!"
The first Torch Trials was a great success! Six instructors were challenged to make a torch-fired piece of art within one hour.
All six instructors created fascinating pieces of work.

Attendees voted on the best pieces and, not surprisingly, our featured instructor Robert Lopez was chosen as the winner!

Afterwards, attendees participated in a silent auction for each of the six pieces. What a great opportunity to see some amazing work in action!
